Jillian Michaels has two very big reasons to celebrate -- her partner Heidi Rhoades recently gave birth to her newborn son, Phoenix, on May 3, and she finally got to bring home her 2-year-old-daughter Lukensia from Haiti after a lengthy adoption process -- all in the same week!

"We're swimming in babies over here," Michaels, 38, tells People.

But the former Biggest Loser trainer wouldn't have it any other way.

"I don't even answer email. I don't have time to care about anything else. I want to be really present and enjoy all the nuances of their growth and development. I don’t want to rush any of it," she says.

Michaels made headlines in 2010 when she told Women's Health she was unwilling to become pregnant because of the effects it would have on her body.

"I'm going to adopt ... I can't handle doing that [pregnancy] to my body," she said.
