Be the Match is the global leader in providing bone marrow and umbilical cord blood transplants to patients with leukemia, lymphoma and other diseases. According to their website, most patients depend on the organization to find a match for them because there usually isn't a match in their family.
"Every 10 minutes, someone dies from a blood cancer," Michael Weatherly says in the TV spot.
Cote de Pablo and Rocky Carroll also appear in the spot, urging viewers to join the Be the Match Registry as a potential marrow donor.
Those who don't register can still help by texting the word "DNA" to 50555 to contribute $10 to help add more heroes to the marrow registry. (Terms and conditions here: mGive.org/T)
