It's all good between Martin Short and Kathie Lee Gifford!

Gifford apologized yesterday via Twitter for her big on-air mistake during her interview with Short on the Today show, when she asked about his wife who had in fact died in 2010 of ovarian cancer. But clearly, Short has forgiven her.

"I think that it's live television and people make mistakes and there's no ill will intended," he told E! News. "And I think it's nice to aspire to be that way."

"He handled situation w/enormous grace and kindness and I'm so grateful," Gifford tweeted yesterday.

Short is currently doing press for his latest film, Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted.
