Lindsay Lohan Hospitalized After Crash

Actress Lindsay Lohan was involved in a traffic collision along the Pacific Coast Highway in California today, ET confirms.

"Lindsay was involved in an automobile accident today on her way to the set," her rep tells ET. "She was brought to Santa Monica UCLA hospital as a precaution. She is fine and was released less than two hours later and is already headed back to the set to resume work. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured in the accident."

The star's Porsche rear-ended an 18-wheeler, effectively destroying her car.

The Santa Monica Fire Department tells ET that Lohan and her assistant were transported by ambulance to the hospital with "non-life-threatening injuries." Lohan complained of pain, but had no visible wounds. Both parties were tested for signs of impairment and were ultimately deemed sober.

The 25-year-old actress is currently filming the biopic Liz & Dick in nearby Marina Del Rey.
