
Courteney Petitions to Drop 'Arquette' From Name

Just a few days after David Arquette's petition for divorce from ex Courteney Cox-Arquette became public, Courteney's paperwork (which was filed the same day) has also surfaced.

The accompanying documents obtained by ETonline detail that the former couple filed the request together sans lawyers on Friday, taking the step towards finalizing their divorce without conflict, with both parties agreeing to joint physical and legal custody of their daughter Coco.
At present, it is not clear how the couple's assets will be divided as the documents make no mention of a prenuptial agreement.

Additionally, Courteney asks that the courts restore her name back to Courteney Cox.
Cox and Arquette separated in October 2010 after 11 years of marriage.
