Mariska Hargitay Gives Update on Adopted Babies
Mariska Hargitay opens up about motherhood after adopting two babies last year and says her family of five is now "perfect."
The 48-year-old Law & Order: SVUstartellsUS Weekly that her nine-month-old adopted son Andrew and 14-month-old daughter Amaya are "awesome and perfect." She also has a five-year old son, August, with her husband Peter Hermann.

Mariska said she is so thrilled with motherhood that even the mundane things get her charged up. "I get very excited about my double stroller," she tells the magazine. "Every time I look at it, I get a shot of adrenaline and joy because I think, this is real! I have everything I need. Our house is very joyful."
Mariska adopted Andrew last October just six months after bringing home Amaya following a long and complicated adoption process.
