J.K. Rowling's first non-fantasy novel, The Casual Vacancy is coming this fall, but today we have a look at the official book cover.

The 512-page novel differs tremendously from the author's beloved Harry Potter series, digging deep into a small English town called Pagford, where a parish council election takes place due to the death of a council member Barry Fairweather. His death sends the citizens into the "biggest war the town has yet seen," as an election, that is "fraught with passion, duplicity, and unexpected revelations" unfolds.

The Casual Vacancy will be released worldwide on September 27.
