Katie Holmes and her daughter Suri were being driven in New York last night when a garbage truck sideswiped their black Mercedes.
Police confirmed there were no injuries and only minor damage was done to one side of the car, People magazine reports. The mother-daughter duo had a driver and were reportedly the only passengers in the car.
Katie and Suri had just left the Chelsea Piers recreational center near their new Manhattan apartment when the garbage truck struck the Mercedes while attempting a turn. "Suri was crying in the car," a source told People.
It was the second minor traffic incident for Katie and Suri to occur in recent days. Last Friday, a car carrying paparazzi hit their vehicle as they pulled out of the FAO Schwarz toy store in Manhattan.
