Sage Stallone's mother, Sasha Czack, has reportedly broken her silence on her son's death, revealing what she feels attributed to Sage's passing in an interview with the New York Post.

According to the news source, Sage had oral surgery two weeks before he died, having five teeth pulled. Sasha reportedly says she warned her son not to have the procedure.

"I've heard about people dying, having multiple procedures done to your mouth," said Sasha. "Do not have more than one tooth [pulled]."

When asked if her son was taking painkillers after the surgery, Sasha replied, "Wouldn't you be?"

"We try to limit the amount of pills prescribed just to make sure the patient does not abuse them," Dr. Lana Rozenberg told ET. Rozenberg, a cosmetic dentist, never treated Sage, but as an experienced practitioner she went on to add, "[Medication] will eliminate the pain, but it does sometimes have consequences to it."

A funeral for Sage has been set for Saturday, July 21 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in the Brentwood section of Los Angeles. The 36-year-old was found dead inside his home last Friday.
