Warner Bros. Makes Donation to Shooting Victims

Warner Bros. has acted quickly in the aftermath of last week's Aurora, CO shooting rampage at a screening of The Dark Knight Rises, from canceling press events to withholding box office results, and now the iconic studio is taking its respects a step further by making a large donation to a charity supporting the victims of the tragedy.

ET can confirm that Warner Bros. has made a donation to givingfirst.org to support victims of the massacre, which left 12 dead and dozens wounded. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the studio donated to a fund identified by Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper, and the donation amount is "substantial." The fund will reportedly distribute monies among many organizations to support those affected by the shooting.
