Country singer Randy Travis was taken into custody last night in Sherman, Texas on suspicion of DWI -- his second arrest this year -- and we have the 911 call.

The Grayson County Sheriff's Department says the 53-year-old crooner was lying naked on a street after being involved in a one vehicle accident when officers arrived on the scene. In addition to a misdemeanor of driving while intoxicated, Travis was also booked on a felony charge of retaliation after police said he made "threats to shoot and kill the troopers working the case."

Travis was arrested last February in a Dallas suburb on suspicion of public intoxication after officers discovered him sitting in a parked car in front of a church with an open wine bottle in the vehicle. He later apologized to fans for that incident.

Travis split from his manager/wife Elizabeth "Lib" Travis in October 2010 after 19 years of marriage.
