Mitch Winehouse says he received some "good news" about Amy's ex-husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who was recently hospitalized and reportedly put on life support after an alleged binge of drugs and alcohol.
Mitch said on his Twitter page on Friday, "It looks like Blake is going to get through this. That's good news." He later tweeted about 30-year-old Fielder-Civil, an admitted recovering drug addict, "I am not supporting Blake, but I am praying for his recovery."
Earlier this week, Mitch noted on Twitter the "terrible news" and urged prayers for Fielder-Civil and told fans of the late singer, "Remember Amy loved him."
Multiple British news outlets reported that Fielder-Civil was found choking in his bed last Friday by Sarah Aspin -- the mother of his 15-month-old son Jack -- and taken to a hospital in Yorkshire and placed on life support.
Fielder-Civil has admittedly battled a heroin addiction and confessed to introducing crack cocaine and heroin to Amy, who died about one year ago from an accidental alcohol overdose.
