'Makeover' Star Previously Outweighed NFL Linemen
August 13, 2012
Last night's episode of Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition featured the dramatic story of Sally Adams -- a 45-year-old mother who was sidelined by an injury that put her in a wheelchair and caused her to balloon up to 352 pounds. We sat down with Sally to find out what finally made her realize she had to get serious about shedding the pounds.
Sally explains that her defining moment came one day while watching football on television and realizing her weight was out of control. "I saw that I outweighed the defensive line. It was that moment -- and at that point I started looking for ways I could get some really serious help."
