A Los Angeles judge has granted Michael Jackson's father's request to dismiss his lawful death suit filed against the doctor convicted of his son's 2009 death.
The Associated Press reports that Joe Jackson's lawsuit, which sought damages from Conrad Murray, was dismissed on Monday for undisclosed reasons.
The case was initially dropped
by a federal judge upon its first filing on the first anniversary of the late pop singer's death from a lethal dose of propofol.
When reached for comment, Charles Peckham, an attorney for Murray told the AP his client "continues to express his condolences to Jackson's family and is glad to put the case behind him."
