Shiny Underwear-Clad Beckham Statues Hit Streets

David Beckham's new underwear campaign for apparel retailer H&M got a boost yesterday when huge metallic statues of the soccer stud were strategically placed in city centers for all to admire.

The silver 10-foot-tall figures feature Beckham modeling H&M underwear and striking a similar pose used in other ads for the bodywear line.

Statues have been placed in New York City, Los Angeles and San Francisco, and will remain on display until August 31.
