Five days after being involved in a car accident, which seriously damaged her right hand, Emmy nominee Mayim Bialik made her first public appearance at The Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences' Performers Peer Group Cocktail Reception in Los Angeles.

Sporting a nude lace dress and right hand cast, Bialik's appearance re-confirmed reports that she was healing well after her August 15 car accident that left The Big Bang Theory star with severe lacerations to her hand and thumb.

Bialik, who returned to work on August 16, wrote to fans (via her un-injured assistant), "I'm going to be okay. I have all my fingers. I can even feel all of them. I can move all of them, too."
