Jon Voight on the Jolie-Pitt Kids

Published
Jon Voight has been in good standing with daughter Angelina Jolie for about two years now, and the actor opened up to ET Canada last night about how that has affected his relationship with his grandkids.
"I'm thinking about each child and how each is so different one from the other," Voight says of the brood his daughter is raising with fiance, Brad Pitt. "When I see them I try to spend special time with each one of them."
The 73-year-old actor singled out the couple's adopted Ethiopian daughter, Zahara, in particular, saying, "She seemed to know that she's been saved. When they first found her she was almost not alive and then one day she started smiling and she hasn't stopped smiling! ... When I play with her she teases me, she laughs at me and she screams and it cracks her up!"
Although Voight is back on speaking terms with Angelina, he revealed that he's just as clueless as everyone else when it comes to Brad and Angie's wedding plans.
"I know nothing," the Oscar winner assured.
Voight was in town attending a fundraiser for the UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, which strives to preserve and strengthen "the quality of Jewish life in Greater Toronto, Canada."
