Country singer Randy Travis got in trouble with the law again Thursday night after allegedly getting involved in an argument between an estranged husband and wife in a church parking lot in Plano, TX.

According to a police report obtained by ET, the alleged altercation occurred last night around 11 p.m. and resulted in Travis being cited for a Class C misdemeanor of assault -- which in Texas can range from an unwanted touch to physical contact not resulting in injury. Medical personnel were dispatched to the scene, but nobody involved wanted to be transported to the hospital.

Contrary to some news reports, the police report said that Travis was not intoxicated at the time of the incident and tested zero for blood alcohol content.

Earlier this month, police found the 53-year-old crooner lying naked on a street after being involved in a one vehicle accident. In addition to being arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, Travis was also booked after that incident on a felony charge of retaliation after police said he allegedly made "threats to shoot and kill the troopers working the case."
