Tony Scott has been cremated, ET has learned. According to the late director's death certificate his remains will be kept at his widow's Los Angeles home.

Although detectives have reportedly been treating the case as a probable suicide, there was no determination as to cause of death listed on the certificate, released Monday.

According to The Associated Press, the Emmy-winner's family has created a "memorial scholarship at the American Film Institute to help future filmmakers" and honor the legacy of the director known for such films as Top Gun, Crimson Tide and Man on Fire.
