Robin Roberts' Mother Passes Away

Robin Roberts said goodbye to her mother, Lucimarian Tolliver Roberts, who passed away on Thursday night, Good Morning America revealed today.

The newswoman began her hiatus from the morning show one day early in order to fight through flooded streets in order to be at her mother's bedside in Mississippi. Lucimarian Tolliver Roberts was 88 years old.

In the coming days, Roberts will begin treatment for a bone marrow transplant thanks to her donor/sister, Sally-Ann Roberts.
