Jessica Simpson: I'm Proud of My Weight Loss

Jessica Simpson won't be donning super-short shorts a la The Dukes of Hazard anytime soon, but the brand-new Weight Watchers spokeswoman is just fine with taking it slow.

"It's easy to get set back a little bit when it comes to our weight because we're women and we fluctuate, but I feel like I've been pretty proud of myself along the way," says Simpson, who has been working hard to shed the baby weight since giving birth to daughter Maxwell in May.

"There are so many temptations and so many hurdles that I face everyday but staying motivated is key," she adds. "Just knowing my goal and knowing where I want to be … really keeps me going."

The singer/actress/designer debuted her very first commercial Monday for the program since beginning the regimen in late May/early June, and she reveals her goal in shedding the post-pregnancy bulge is not to be "supermodel" skinny, rather she wants to be healthy and set a good example for baby Maxwell.

"I'm just Jessica trying to eat real food in the real world," the 32-year-old mom reveals in the new ad, looking fresh-faced and already a bit slimmed down. "I really just want to be healthy for my daughter so I knew Weight Watchers was the only way to go... I'm on my way and it feels amazing. Really, I just want to be a better version of myself."
