Claire Danes 'Can't Imagine' Being Angelina or Jen

Claire Danes is looking gorgeous in a photoshoot for T, The New York Times Style Magazine, where she sports a number of high-fashion looks in Tel Aviv, where they're shooting the second season of her critically acclaimed Showtime hit Homeland.

In the candid interview, the notoriously private actress shares her fears about being "imprisoned in fame," but thinks that her life is "too predictable" now to make headlines.

The 33-year-old actress is married to Hugh Dancy and announced that she was pregnant with their first child in July.

"I cannot imagine what it would be like to be Angelina Jolie or Jennifer Aniston," she says, referring to their intense level of fame. "I was watching a documentary about Britney Spears, and what she has to cope with really shook me."

However, the tradeoff of tabloid scrutiny is worth it for Claire, as she says getting to flex her acting chops in the complex role as the mentally unstable but brilliant CIA agent Carrie Mathison on Homeland gives her "more pleasure than anything else." "I love words. It is physical. It is intellectual. It's psychological," she says.

But does the intense role ever get overwhelming?

"Well, it's been nice to have a reprieve," she admits about taking a seven-month break from playing Carrie. "I feel I put her in the fridge for a few months, next to the vodka. I was a little nervous about being able to access her straight away again, but no, there she is, right next to the vodka. I like her a lot. She means well and she is kind of a superhero. So it is fun to put my crazy Carrie cape on again."
