Dina Lohan has released an exclusive statement to ET following an alleged incident in Lindsay Lohan's hotel that prompted her to contact law enforcement in New York City on Sunday morning.

"I am relieved to have my daughter safely at home with me," Dina tells ET. "She is understandably rattled and quite shaken by what she experienced early this morning. I believe the authorities have the suspect in custody and I have complete faith they will bring this criminal matter to its rightful conclusion."

The NYPD charged the man in question, Christian LaBella, with assault and harassment today. Charges have since been dropped by NYPD after their investigation revealed that there was no assault.
