Buzzmakers: Bieber Week & Urban on 'Idol' Feud

What had ET readers buzzing this week?

1. Justin Bieber Goes Swimming with Sharks

During ET's week-long celebration of Justin Bieber, the heartthrob ventured into a water tank full of sharks and beautiful women for a new video, but the pop superstar admitted to our Christina McLarty that the plunge wasn't without some hesitation.

"I'm terrified of sharks," said a wide-eyed Bieber. "I was so scared. I hate sharks. It took, like, an hour for me to even jump in the water."

But even while staring down bonnethead and zebra sharks, the underwater shoot did have its perks.

"Being with the ladies under there kind of made it a lot better," said Bieber, who was surrounded by a protective layer of Aqualillies -- a female, synchronized swim team.

Fans will see the video during his shows on the Believe Tour, which heads to Fresno, California on Friday.

"It's funny to say this about an 18-year-old but it's like dealing with a touring veteran," said Bieber's manager Scooter Braun. "He feels more comfortable on that stage than I think he does out in the real world."

2. Keith Urban Responds to 'American Idol' Fight

ET caught up with Keith Urban and Nicole Kidman at the The Paperboy premiere during the New York Film Festival in New York City, where the American Idol judge commented on the fight caught on tape between new Idol judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj.

In the video, Urban is awkwardly sandwiched between the two during the judging panel, and can be seen throwing up his hands up in the air during the expletive-filled argument.

"You know -- we're four passionate people, some more so than others, and we're very intense artists and it comes out in different ways," he tells ET. "But the great thing is we've been hearing killer singers."

As to whether there's still lingering drama on the Idol set, Urban says that the day's filming was actually "great."

"We're putting the fun back in dysfunction, that's what we're doing," he jokes.

3. Jennifer Lopez Strips for Jason Statham

After watching the sexual tension between Jennifer Lopez and Jason Statham's characters in Parker, you may find yourself reminiscing about Lopez and George Clooney's similar romance in the 1998 flick Out of Sight.

Parker is about a thief (Statham) who lives by a code of honor that reads: "Don't steal from people who can’t afford it, and don't hurt people that don’t deserve it."

He soon crosses paths with the sexy Leslie (Lopez) who seeks to help him with his latest mission -- but first she must strip down to prove she isn't bugged. According to the trailer, this will later lead to the two kissing in the shower.

If the film is as fun as the trailer, Parker will include lots of action, some sex and several silly costumes. The film hits theaters Jan. 25.

4. Meet Vanessa and Nick Lachey's Baby Boy

While some famous parents introduce their babies to the public on magazine covers, others do so through Twitter. Most recently, proud mom Vanessa Lachey tweeted out a photo of her and husband Nick Lachey's new son.

The pic shows Vanessa holding her baby with a caption that reads: "@NickSLachey and I are honored and humbled to introduce you to the new Love of our lives, Camden John Lachey."

This past September, the couple welcomed their first child. The little guy weighed in at 8 pounds, 9 ounces and 21 inches.

5. Jennie Admits to Losing 30 Pounds Since Divorce

Beloved 90210 star Jennie Garth is opening up about her tough year, and noticeable weight loss.

Jennie and Twilight star Peter Facinelli announced their divorce in March, after 11 years of marriage and three kids together.

"[2012] has been a bit of a rebirth for me as a person by shedding that negative space and all the pain associated with that time," Jennie tells People in a new interview.

One part of her rebirth has been a sizable weight loss for the 40-year-old actress.

Calling the 30 pounds "dead weight," Jennie sees it as a positive, and attributes it to focusing on "taking better care" of herself.

"It definitely feels like a great time in my life," she says, despite the tumultuous year. "Even through the ups and downs, I'm happy. I'm thankful to be alive."

And it seems she's even found love again.

She was photographed in August holding hands with rumored new boyfriend, photographer Noah Abrams.
