"It's drama. I mean, I'm pretty sure the FOX network is happy," said Nick, brushing off the fuss. The America's Got Talent host praised the show for its overall positivity, citing the contestants whose lives are forever altered because of the opportunities the show affords them.

"I hope they continue to focus on that instead of the drama," Nick added before jokingly calling out Idol host Ryan Seacrest, saying, "Ryan, get it together. You're supposed to be the police, too."

Nick hosted the first annual Family Day event, presented by Safe Communications and celebrating the launch of Kuboo.com. According to the website, Kuboo is a "patent pending 3D Virtual World for kids," allowing children to learn in a social environment where parents can monitor their activity.

Nick says he came up with the concept for the event while talking with his friend and fellow family man, music producer/rapper Swizz Beatz.

"It could be a great holiday when you think about it," said Nick. "You got Mother's Day. You got Father's Day. You should have Family Day."
