Police found a large amount of drugs during a search of Nelly's tour bus Wednesday as it passed through a notorious Texas border crossing and one member of the rapper's entourage was arrested.
The Hudspeth County Sheriff's Office confirmed to ET that Nelly, 37, was aboard the bus when it was stopped last night in Sierra Blanca, TX.
Officers conducting a routine check with a canine discovered over 10 pounds of marijuana, 36 small bags (.64 ounces) containing heroin and a loaded .45 cal pistol, according to the sheriff's office.
Police say one of the passengers in the bus -- identified as Brian Keith Jones -- "freely admitted that the controlled substances along with the weapon belonged to him" and was placed under arrest. Jones was being held at the the Hudspeth County jail until a bond hearing is held.
The Sierra Blanca border stop in west Texas is a known snagging point for celebrities caught with drugs.
