Uma on Coming Back to Acting After Pregnancy

Amid the recent news and video of Twilight stars' Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart reuniting, Stars Earn Stripes host Samantha Harris shared her candid thoughts on the couple's timely reconciliation.

"[It's] very convenient timing for a movie release," said Harris, who took note of the final Twilight film's upcoming release in November. "I believe in love, but when you're that young and you fall in love at such a young age in the intensity of a film franchise like the 'Twilight' films, I'm sure it was a great ride to be on together but they've grown up so much over the years that it would have been surprising to see them remain together. It would've been a Hollywood first time."

Rare to make public appearances following his relationship strife with Stewart, Pattinson made an appearance at Elle's 19th annual Women in Hollywood event to dish out an awarded to one of the night's celebrated Hollywood women; however, he opted out of talking to the media.

Among the honored women of the likes of Cate Blanchett, Elle Fanning, Emma Watson, Sarah Jessica Parker was Uma Thurman, who was delighted to be honored in light of her brief hiatus from acting while being pregnant with her child.

"It's really nice. It's really sweet, especially since I feel like I've just come from such a long time off," said Thurman, who stars in the upcoming ensemble comedy film Movie 43. "To get to come back and be out and see everyone feels like such a warm welcome. It's fantastic."

Receiving this year's Emerging Star Spotlight Award was Harry Potter actress Emma Watson, who recently starred in the well-received film The Perks of Being a Wallflower. She said the award was very telling and relieving for her.

"It just really warmed my heart," she said with sincerity. "It's been such a big year for me. I've been doing a lot of work and it was just really nice to know that people were appreciating the new stuff I was doing and to feel supported in this way. It was just really nice."
