Johnny Depp has already established himself as one of Hollywood's top actors/producers and is now partnering with publishing giant HarperCollins to release a series of book titles.

The titles -- to be published by Harper under the imprint Infinitum Nihil -- will reflect the actor's "diverse interests and passions," according to a news release sent out Tuesday by HarperCollins Publishers.

The list's first title will be a biological work delving into the life of Bob Dylan, entitled The Unraveled Tales of Bob Dylan, by New York Times-bestselling author Douglas Brinkley. The book is based on archival research and exclusive interviews with Dylan and is intended to "set the record straight on scores of issues pertaining to the rock-and-roll legend."

Depp, 49, said he's excited to be joining the publishing world and looks forward to helping produce quality material. "I pledge, on behalf of Infinitum Nihil, that we will do our best to deliver publications worthy of peoples' time, of peoples' concern. Publications that might ordinarily never have breached the parapet. For this dream realized, we would like to salute HarperCollins for their faith in us and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship together."
