In what could be a preview of the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards, hosting tag team Tina Fey and Amy Poehler put themselves on the auction block for Comedy Central's Night of Too Many Stars: America Comes Together for Autism Programs.

The bff stars took the stage, willing to let another member into their tight-knit circle for the night with one stipulation -- no dudes!

"Let's face it, men and women can never really be friends," Fey joked.

"We don't want a threesome tonight. We have business to do," added Poehler.

They wound up making it a foursome. The demand was so great that the prize was awarded to two women at the hefty price of $36,000 each, but what's a few grand between friends?

Night of Too Many Stars is produced in conjunction with Jon Stewart's Busboy Productions. The event premiere's on Comedy Central on Sunday, October 21 at 8/7c.
