Rapper Flavor Flav is facing felony assault charges after Las Vegas police responded to a domestic disturbance call early Wednesday morning involving his fiancee and her 17-year-old son.

The alleged altercation took place around 3:30 a.m., reports KTNV Las Vegas, wherein the reality star (also known as William Drayton Jr.) purportedly got involved in a physical scuffle with his fiancee, and reportedly threatened her son with a knife.
Following an investigation, the 53-year-old reality star was arrested and transported to the Clark County Detention Center in Las Vegas and slapped with charges of assault with a deadly weapon and misdemeanor domestic violence.
Drayton, who is currently being held on $23,000 bail, is best known for his involvement with the hip-hop group Public Enemy as well as appearances on the VH1 reality series Flavor of Love and Strange Love (with then girlfriend Brigitte Nielsen).
