It seems at least one Hollywood actor managed to avoid succumbing to Bieber-fever, turning to his kids for answers when an opportunity to star in a music video with the popstar presented itself.
"It wasn’t something that I originally would say yes to," Michael Madsen told ET, "…but I went to my kids and I asked them, I said, 'Who is Justin Bieber?'…and my seventeen-year-old son, he put his hand on my shoulder and he goes, 'Dad, don't you know who Justin Bieber is?'"
Madsen, who was in attendance at the 8th Annual LA Femme International Film Festival to promote his film Terrible Angels, let us in on his experience working with the teen idol on his As Long As You Love Me video, as well as his thoughts on working with the late, great Michael Jackson on the 2001 video for You Rock My World, in which he starred alongside famed actor Marlon Brando.
He told ET, "I felt like [Jackson] had too many people around him, and I felt like he was doing some things he didn't necessarily want to do, and I felt like he was very shy…he sure could sing though, I'll say that."
The LA Femme International Film Festival, the 8th annual opening night of which Madsen attended, is a festival designed to showcase and celebrate emerging female talent behind the camera.
