Tori: Baby Complications Led to a 'Scary Journey'

Tori Spelling went through serious complications during the pregnancy and birth of her fourth child, Finn, but she says the experience provided an opportunity to spend invaluable quality time with her baby and turned into an educational journey.

Speaking at the launch party for her Little Maven clothing line, the actress revealed how she used her hospitalization to strengthen her as a mom and designer. "At 20 weeks, I spent two-and-a-half- months in the hospital, which was scary, and a journey," the actress/designer said. "Now I look back, and learned so much from it -- a bond that can't be beat between me and baby Finn. It was me and him the whole time, just everyday fighting together for our lives."

Tori revealed that she was even designing clothes during the time that she and Finn were in the hospital "fighting together for [their] lives." "I'm a workaholic ... I'm a mommy warrior," said Tori, explaining that she likes to "blend it all together" when it comes to family and work. "I never take 'me time,' and I think maybe it was my body saying, 'You know what? This is your final baby -- baby No. 4. Together you guys are going to have a little 'me time.'"

Her other children Liam and Stella have also contributed to the line.

"My kids are a huge part of the line," said Tori. "Stella picks colors. Liam picks softness of fabrics. And that's important to me. So, between me designing and my kids involved and JCPenney - we're all a big family."
