After a hot photoshoot, and a sexy speed dating session with ET, Cosmopolitan magazine has finally announced the winner of their 2012 Bachelor of the Year Contest.

The winner is 25-year-old lawyer Ryan Chenevert from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who came away with the $10,000 prize.

Ryan was announced as the winner at Cosmopolitan's 2012 Hottest Bachelor Party at Copacabana nightclub in New York City last night, beating out his fellow 51 bachelors. Ryan was one of the top 10 contestants by reader votes, and was ultimately chosen as the winner by a panel of Cosmo editors.

And who's the first person's he going to call with the good news of his big win?

"My number one fan -- my mom, he says. "My whole family, especially my mom, has been absolutely wonderful -- so supportive and encouraging."

But look out ladies -- he might not remain a bachelor for very long!

"I'm ready to have a very fun and exciting year, let's just put it that way," he smiles.
