What Snooki Will Tell Her Son about Wild Partying

By

Through Jersey Shore and her spinoff Snooki & JWoww, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has made herself a household name. While reality television has brought her success, it has also captured some not-too-flattering moments of debauchery that will be around for her newborn son Lorenzo to discover when he gets older. Some interesting conversations are in line.

"He'll think I'm a nut-job, but that's O.K. as long as he loves me," Snooki said of her son one day learning of his mother's well-documented party life. "If anyone talks crap about me, I want him to punch them."

When she was asked how she'll respond to her son's inevitable discovery of unflattering footage of her, she revealed that she plans to respond to his inquiries by conveying her belief that everyone has partied like she did.

"I'm not nervous, just because everyone's done it," the 24-year-old new mother said. "The only [difference] is I'm being followed by a camera and everyone sees it. I'm just going to say, 'Everyone does it and just watch yourself when you're growing up.'"

Perhaps a result of her own experiences with reality television, Snooki stated that although she currently features her child on her reality show, she and her fiance eventually plan to kick out the cameras and live a normal life.

"We're so cool with showing the world Lorenzo right now but we definitely want Lorenzo to grow up normal like how I grew up--going to school, dealing with friendship and...girlfriends, and doing sports," she said. "I don't want him to have that on-TV life. I want him to have a normal childhood...Probably once he starts going to school I don't want to do [reality TV] anymore."

The proud mother divulged that motherhood has drastically changed her life as well as her fiance Jionni's. Unlike her life as displayed on television, Snooki says that she has transitioned from thinking about herself to putting her child first.

"I feel very different," she said. "Instead of always thinking...'Where am I going to go tonight? What am I going to wear?' it's more like, 'What are me and Lorenzo going to do? What is he going to wear?'...So, basically my life has turned from partying and all about me to all about Lorenzo and family."

While the focus in her life has been drastically redirected, the Marlboro, New York native revealed that she hasn't ceased attending nights out with her friends but is more tamed when she does so.

"I don't go as crazy...[and] flash people in the club, but I still go out, have a glass of wine with my friends, get a little buzzed, [and] enjoy myself," she said, "but I don't go as crazy as I used to."
