Adam Levine on New 'Voice' Judges

Adam Levine was honored at Wednesday night's GQ Gentlemen's Ball for his work with the Teen Impact program at the Los Angeles Children's Hospital, where he talked to ET about working with new Voice judges Shakira and Usher, and what he thinks makes a gentleman.

"It's going good -- it's going very, very well," he assured ET about the new Voice judges replacing Christina Aguilera and Cee Lo Green. "We're showing them the ropes. It's hard because you know, we're missing our two family members. But it's still really great. They're fantastic."

And what does the handsome Maroon 5 frontman think makes a gentleman?

"I think some amount of consciousness about the world around you is an important thing," he said. "Being compassionate and being respectful ... it's good to be aware."

Michael Strahan hosted the New York City event, where he talked to ET about how hosting Live! with Kelly & Michael has been going so far.

"It's fun. I go to work every morning, I have an incredible co-host that I work with who's fun, and who'll be here tonight," he said about the high-profile gig. "It's just fun to laugh and be there every day, and on the weekends I sit at a desk with a bunch of guys and talk about football (Fox NFL Sunday). How bad could that be?"
