Exclusive: Jamie Spears on Dismissal of Court Case
November 02, 2012
Jamie Spears, father of Britney Spears, reveals exclusively to ET his thoughts on the recent dismissal of the court case brought against his family by Sam Lutfi, who claims to be Britney Spears' former manager.
Spears states, "I'm just so relieved that this is over with. That our family can finally put this behind us and move forward. I am so proud of each lawyer that represented our family in this. They were so prepared. They were ready. They stood behind us and I'm just so proud of each one of them that handled each one of these cases. I'm also very proud of and also very thankful for the judicial system and the judge. It took her a lot of patience and took a lot of time to listen to all that was said and I want to thank her so much for the decision that she made and she made it upon the evidence and she made it upon the law and I believe justice was served."
A judge dismissed Lutfi's case mid-trial Thursday because of insufficient evidence.
