Sharon Osbourne says she underwent a double mastectomy as a precaution to prevent possible breast cancer.
The 60-year-old host of The Talk tells Hello! magazine that she decided to have the surgery after finding out she carries a gene that increases the risk of developing breast cancer.
"As soon as I found out I had the breast cancer gene, I thought: 'The odds are not in my favor,'" said Osbourne, who battled colon cancer about 10 years ago. "For me, it wasn't a big decision, it was a no-brainer. I didn't want to live the rest of my life with that shadow hanging over me.
