At five-feet, five-inches and 250 pounds, Chaz Bono is dangerously overweight, so now he's seeking consultation from Dr. Travis Stork from The Doctors to help in his fight against obesity.
"It's very personal for me and very difficult," Chaz tells ET's Chris Jacobs.
Before his gender reassignment transformation, the former Dancing with the Stars contestant was in a battle with his gender identity, but he says the two struggles are unrelated.
"I was overweight before I transitioned. I'm still overweight," says Chaz. "They're two separate issues."
Chaz has proven that he can lose weight, having dropped 30 pounds on Celebrity Fit Club in 2006, now the real challenge will be to keep it off. Starting November 14, Chaz will launch into his weight-loss journey, documenting his progress on The Doctors.
"I don't want to have to do it again," says Chaz, whose goal is to lose between 50 and 80 pounds.
