Years ago, ET visited Lark Voorhies as she taped early seasons of the '90s sitcom Saved by the Bell, where she played the loveable Lisa Turtle. Now decades later, the once promising teen star exclusively comes to the ET studio, shooting down reports questioning her mental health.

According to Voorhies, 38, she is not seeing a doctor, she is not bipolar and she does not hear voices, contrary to recent rumors.
Last month, Voorhies and her mother Tricia spoke to People for what the actress believed would be a career update. In the article, Tricia claimed that her daughter has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. Likewise, former co-star Dustin Diamond told the magazine that he felt Voorhies "wasn't the Lark [he] knew" when he met with her in 2003 to record commentary for a Saved by the Bell box set.
"I don't understand why they chose to take that angle, quite frankly," says Voorhies, who maintains that she isn't taking the claims personally. "I can only come forward to correct and state for the true record what is in fact factual."

People tells ET, "People Magazine spent hours with Lark Voorhies and spoke to those closest to her. We stand by our story."
Tune in to ET tomorrow night to hear a renowned psychiatrist analyze Voorhies' interview and give his medical opinion.
