Lisa Ling Talks Upcoming Baby
November 14, 2012
Journalist Lisa Ling says she's been too busy lately to think much about having a baby, but she's looking forward to the "life-changing" experience.
Speaking to ET at last night's Women's Media Awards in New York City, Lisa said she's "not ready at all" when asked about her upcoming pregnancy. "I can't say that I'm excited yet, I'm more nervous -- because at 39 years old it's going to be such a life change," she said. "But I feel very lucky."
Lisa was honored at the ceremony -- which was hosted by Anne Hathaway -- along with sister, journalist Laura Ling, who said she couldn't be more thrilled that Lisa is having a baby so her two-and-a-half-year-old daughter will have a new little cousin.
Lisa revealed she was pregnant last month during an appearance on Anderson Cooper's daytime talk show Anderson Live.
