Larry Hagman attended the White Bridle Society's Wine and Roses fundraiser on November 15 for what would be his final public appearance, and ET has video from the event.
"Larry was the happiest person I have ever met," said the President of White Bridle Society Sheree Wilson, a longtime friend of Larry who co-starred on the original Dallas. "His bathroom mirror had the statement 'Don't Worry, Be Happy, Feel Good.' And that is how he lived his life. He lit up the room when he made his grand entrance ... and GRAND it was ... wearing one of his many hats or costumes. He was more than an incredible artist. He was a father, a husband, a philanthropist, and a treasured friend. I will miss him more than can be put into words. I am grateful for all memories I have had the privilege to experience with him and his family."
White Bridle serves children with autism in the Dallas - Fort Worth metroplex with equine programs that enable people to live happier.
Hagman launched his own charity, The Larry Hagman Foundation, in October. The Hagman Family wishes that in lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Larry Hagman Foundation. Click here to make your contribution.
Hagman died on November 23 from complications stemming from a recent battle with cancer. He was 81 years old.
