Kim Kardashian Regains Title of Most-Searched Star

Reality star Kim Kardashian has captured the title of most-searched person on Bing in 2012, dethroning the previous year's winner, Justin Bieber. 

But Justin only dropped one place to come in second on this year's list, followed by Miley Cyrus (3), Rihanna (4) and Lindsay Lohan (5), according to the search engine. Rounding out the top 10 were entertainers Katy Perry (6), Selena Gomez (7), Jennifer Aniston (8), Nicki Minaj (9) and Taylor Swift (10). Kardashian ranked as the top-searched person in 2010.

The most-searched TV show on Bing was American Idol and more people queried The Avengers than any other movie.

Ellen DeGeneres won the title of most-searched daytime talk show host and Korean pop star Psy's Gangnam Style was the most-searched song, beating out Carly Rae Jepsen's Call Me Maybe. The birth of Beyonce and Jay-Z’s baby Blue Ivy came in as the No. 1 most-searched celebrity event of 2012.
