Stand-up comedian and actor Katt Williams was arrested Sunday afternoon in Seattle after getting involved in a dispute at a bar.

A police statement said that Williams got into an argument with another patron at the World Sports Grille in downtown Seattle and also brandished a pool cue at a bar manager and refused to leave the business, the Associated Press reported. He is also accused of flicking a cigarette into a woman's face through a car window and throwing a rock at her vehicle.

Police said Williams struggled with officers as they tried to put him into a patrol car. He was booked into the King County Jail on Sunday for investigation of harassment, assault and obstructing police, and was released from jail early Monday, according to the AP.

According to police, Williams was also involved in another alleged incident with three fans after his comedy show on Friday evening. "The fans claimed Williams had attacked them after they tried to take a photo with him after the show," Seattle Police Department spokesman Jonah Spagenthal-Lee was quoted as saying. "However, Williams claimed the fans had forced their way into his dressing room, and denied assaulting anyone,"

Spagenthal-Lee said.
