Congratulations are in order for Jennifer Nettles. The Sugarland singer, 38,  gave birth to her son, Magnus Hamilton, on Thursday, December 6.

"We are so thankful for all the prayers and support and are excited to take some time together as a new family," Nettles and her husband Justin Miller said in a statement to People.

This is the first child for the couple, who quietly married last year in a small, sunset ceremony in Tennessee last November 28.

Nettles recently wrapped up a Sugarland tour this summer, and came out victorious on reality singing competition Duets' first season, which she won with partner J Rome.
