She added, "Thank you to the doctors, nurses & staff at New York Presbyterian Hospital Columbia University Medical Center for taking great care of my Mom."

Philippe Reines, Deputy Assistant Secretary of State, released a statement soon after Clinton's release, writing she's "eager to get back to the office."

"Secretary Clinton was discharged from the hospital this evening. Her medical team advised her that she is making good progress on all fronts, and they are confident she will make a full recovery," said Reines. "Both she and her family would like to express their appreciation for the excellent care she received from the doctors, nurses, and staff at New York Presbyterian Hospital Columbia University Medical Center."

On Sunday the 65-year-old was hospitalized in New York on Sunday after doctors discovered a blood clot during a follow-up exam related to the concussion she sustained in December when she fainted due to dehydration.
