Carmen Electra Sets the Record Straight on Simon

Rumors have been swirling recently that have linked entertainment mogul Simon Cowell and Carmen Electra as an item. At the Weinstein Golden Globes after-party ET caught up with Electra, who addressed the persistent buzz about her and Cowell.

"I know; there's a lot of rumors about that," she replied when prompted by ET's Brooke Anderson on the hot topic. "We're really good friends and that's it."

PICS: Stars Shine At The Golden Globes

Outside of clarifying her relationship with the X Factor creator and judge, Electra gave her opinion on this year's Golden Globes hosts Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, to whom she referred as the "perfect hosts."

Electra's assessment of Fey and Poehler, who previously acted together on Saturday Night Live, was echoed by the masses at the Golden Globes. The Sessions actor John Hawkes was already eager for the comical duo to host another show.

"I just think the amazing Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are just so terrific," he said. "I think they should host every awards show--if they'd like to--for the rest of the way. I knew beforehand they'd be amazing, but I didn't know they'd be that good. It was really fun."

Also on Hawkes' list of favorite things from Sunday night's show was witnessing Ben Affleck win Best Director for Argo, which was also mentioned by Django Unchained actor Jamie Foxx.

"I really enjoyed Ben Affleck's speech," he said. "...These awards are more loose and everything like that, but his speech was just right on."
