Stars React to Obama's Inauguration Speech

President Barack Obama was inaugurated into his second term on Monday, becoming the 21st American president to serve two terms. At the Creative Coalition Inaugural Ball later in the day, the stars reacted to President Obama's inauguration speech.

"The speech," actress Taraji P. Henson mentioned as her favorite part of the day. "He talked about togetherness; he talked about 'us' and 'we' and that's what America was built on. ...You can't forget about the middle class, and that's what I love about Obama. He fights for the middle class."

The Date Night actress also discussed the Ball's focus of encouraging arts education. The event had a unique connection for Henson, as she once acted on stage in the evening's venue, The Harman Center for the Arts.

"Growing up as a youth in the inner city, where you have some many possibilities of getting in trouble...what kept me in school and engaged was the arts, and look at me now." she said. "... [Children] need to be able to express themselves creatively."

Also in attendance at the Creative Coalition Inaugural Ball were Giancarlo Esposito, Paula Abdul, Matt Bomer, Marlon Wayans, David Arquette, and many other television and film stars.

"The cold was not the best thing," Matt Bomer and John Leguizamo agreed on D.C.'s chilling temperatures that remained well below freezing when asked their favorite part of Inauguration day. "I would say the speech: How he emphasized equality...and he got to say what he'd been holding in before 'cause he didn't have to worry about reelection anymore."
