Arnold Schwarzenegger opens up in a new interview about his relationship with estranged wife Maria Shriver, saying he still loves her and has hopes that the couple can one day get back together.
The Last Stand star reveals to Germany's top-selling Bild newspaper that he spent the Christmas holiday with Shriver and their children and that the two still are on very good terms.
"We're not fighting a war. I still hope for reconciliation -- I still love Maria," the newspaper quoted him as saying.
Shriver filed for divorce in 2011 after 25 years of marriage after the 65-year-old former governor of California admitted that he fathered a child with the family's housekeeper. The actor has also acknowledged other affairs during his marriage.
