The NBA's All-Star weekend is all about connecting with fans and some of the greatest basketball players in the world took that to a whole new level by participating in some candid video chats before taking the court in Houston.

Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Dwight Howard were some of the all-stars to get in some face time with fans via ooVoo.

"We're having fan, man," Wade told one young Miami Heat fan. "We get a chance to live our dream."

Likewise, celebrities Josh Hutcherson and Kevin Hart (who faced off in the Celebrity All-Star game) also fielded questions, using ooVoo.

"Outside of basketball, what do you like to do in your free time?" a fan inquired of Hart.

"Watch me play basketball," the comedian joked.
