Funeral plans have been announced for country singer Mindy McCready, who committed suicide last Sunday at her home in Heber Springs, Arkansas.

A private funeral will be held February 26 at Crossroads Church in McCready's hometown of Fort Myers, Florida, the Associated Press reports.

A news release issued on Friday also announced that another memorial organized by friends and the music community is tentatively scheduled for March 6 at Cathedral of the Incarnation church in Nashville.

McCready, a 37-year-old mother of two, died from a single gunshot to the head about a month after her longtime boyfriend David Wilson was believed to have killed himself at the same location.
